Lock Down Drill

Good afternoon,
I just want to make parents aware that BHS held a "Lock Down" drill in school today. This drill required teachers to stop teaching, turn off lights, and move students away from windows and doors. The drill, ideally never needed in a real-life scenario, is to practice procedures to ensure student safety in the face of an imminent threat within the building. The drill lasted five minutes and was successful due to the cooperation and seriousness with which our students and staff engaged it.
