April is Autism Awareness Month!

April 2nd Autism Awareness Day
Let’s Light It Up Blue….

The entire month of April is Autism Awareness Month, but on April 2nd, Autism Awareness Day, we are asking the Braintree community to show their support in wearing blue in order to raise awareness.
Autism is a group of complex disorders of brain development. These disorders are characterized, in                               varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and
repetitive behaviors.
With many children in Braintree diagnosed with Autism, this awareness is to help
our community understand the difficulties these children deal with daily.
The goal is inclusion, acceptance, compassion, understanding and respect!
Let’s show our support…….
Wear BLUE on Tuesday April 2nd and united we can put the pieces together!
